  2. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the terms of entry.  Registration to the walk is deemed entry into the competition and is considered acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and anything else that refer to this competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

Who can enter

  1. Entry is open to all registrants of the Walk for Monash Children’s Hospital 2018 and Monash Health staff who meet the criteria of the competition as set in these Terms and Conditions, with the exception of employees of Monash Health Foundation and their immediate families.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address or proof of registration in order to claim the prize.  Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.  In the event that winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

When to enter

  1. The competition commences on [Date, time AEDT) and concludes on Wednesday 28th February, 5:00pm AEDT. 
  2. Entry is automatic and based on paid registration to the event on Sunday, 4th March 2018.
  3. Entry conditions must be fulfilled prior to the competition close date and time.
  4. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online registration is received and time-stamped by the Promoter’s database.
  5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected registrations not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the registration due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

How to enter


  1. Entrants enter the competition by logging onto www.mchwalk.com.au and completing the registration to participate in the walk, complete with full name, address, post code, telephone number and email address, and reaching the minimum fundraising goals as specified in these Terms and Conditions
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.


Number of Entries permitted

  1. Only one entry per registrant is allowed.

Draw and Winner Announcement

  1. Two winners will be drawn to win the Soleful Strutters pack or the Walkers Fitness pack.
  2. The draw will take place at the Monash Health Foundation office, Monash Health, 246 Clayton Road, Clayton VIC 3168 on Friday 2nd March 2018, 4:00pm via www.random.org
  3. The draw will be an electronic random draw conducted from the Promoter’s database and adjudicated by two authorised Monash Health members.
  4. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.
  5. The winners will be announced at the Walk for Monash Children’s Hospital village precinct, Jells Park, Sunday 4th March, 9:10am. Winners of the Soleful Strutters pack and the Walkers Fitness Pack will be published on www.mchwalk.com.au by Friday 9th March, 2018.
  6. Prize packs will be awarded to person named in the entry.
  7. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.  A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.


Unclaimed Prizes

  1. Subject to State Regulation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Monash Health Foundation, Monash Health, 246 Clayton Road, Clayton VIC 3168 on Friday 2nd June 2018 at 10:00am AEDT. 
  2. The draw will be an electronic random draw conducted from the Promoter’s database and adjudicated by two authorised Monash Health staff.
  3. The winner/s of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone or email within two days of that draw.  Winners of prize packs will be published on www.monashchildrenshospital.org within 14 days of the draw.


Prizes on offer

  1. All registrants who register for the Walk and raise a minimum of $100AUD before Wednesday 28thFebruary 2018, 5:00pm AEDT will go into the draw to win the Soleful Strutters pack valued at $249AUD:
    1. $100 2XU voucher
    2. Sol Republic Relay Sport In-ear Wireless Headphones valued at $149AUD
    3. All registrants who raise over $500AUD before Friday 2ndMarch 2018, 3:00pm will go into the draw to win the Walkers Fitness Pack valued at $650:
      • $100 2XU voucher
      • 6-month regular gym membership at Infinite Fitness Peninsula valued at $400 (regular gym membership includes basic level gym access 7 days/week)
      • A pair of Skechers up to the value of $150
      • Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
      • It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.  It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such conditions with the prize supplier.
      • Gift vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the gift card provider.  Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

The Promoter

  1. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter had reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.  The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  2. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you for the purposes of conducting this promotion.  Any disclosure of such information will be made as required by law and in accordance with these terms and conditions but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
  3. All entries become the property of The Promoter.  Registrations will be entered into a database and The Promoter may use the entrant’s names, addresses, telephone numbers and email for future promotional purposes in any media without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.  By registering, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose.  If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact The Promoter on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details should be directed to The Promoter.
  4. The Promoter collects information about you, including for example your name and contact details which you provide when registering.  We collect and use that information to provide you with our goods and services and to promote and improve our goods and services.  We may also your information as described when we collect information from you. Where you have entered a competition, we may disclose your personal information to authorities if you are a prize winner or otherwise as required by law.  To request access to, or to update, personal information the Promoter holds about them, entrants can contact the office of the Monash Health Foundation on 03 9594 2700 or email foundation@monashhealth.org
